These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of scrabblewise.com and its tools (together, "the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What the Service is

ScrabbleWise provides free, browser-based word-game tools — including a Scrabble word finder, anagram solver, Wordle solver, jumble solver, crossword helper, and reference word lists. No account or payment is required to use them.

Not affiliated with any game publisher

ScrabbleWise is an independent reference tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hasbro, Mattel, Zynga, The New York Times, or any other publisher of Scrabble®, Words With Friends®, Wordle®, or similar games. Those names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe the games our tools are compatible with.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content or word lists from the Service in a way that degrades it for other users.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law.
• Misrepresent the Service's outputs as an official ruling from any game publisher or dictionary authority.

Word lists and accuracy

Word validity and scores are generated from public-domain word lists and standard Scrabble tournament word lists, and are provided for reference. We work to keep results accurate, but word-game rules and official dictionaries vary by region and edition, and we can't guarantee every result matches the specific dictionary your game or tournament uses. For competitive or tournament play, always confirm a word against your event's official dictionary.

Intellectual property

The ScrabbleWise name, logo, site design, and original content are owned by ScrabbleWise. The underlying word lists are drawn from public-domain sources. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce or redistribute the site's design or software in whole or in part without permission.

Overdraw, the daily word-building game offered on this site, was created by and is the exclusive property of PRGRS Group S.L. Its game design, software, and content may not be copied, reproduced, or used to create a derivative game without our prior written permission.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScrabbleWise won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including a lost game, lost score, or lost time.

Third-party links and services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, analytics or advertising providers described in our Privacy Policy). We aren't responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.

Changes

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which ScrabbleWise operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
