Built for the moment you're stuck on a word
Every ScrabbleWise tool exists to answer one question fast: what can I actually play with these letters?
Why we built this
Word games reward vocabulary, but they also reward speed — and staring at seven tiles or a scrambled word with the clock running isn't fun for anyone. ScrabbleWise started as a single word finder and grew into a full set of tools because every word game has its own quirks: different valid-word lists, different scoring, different constraints.
Rather than one generic solver, we built dedicated tools for Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordle, jumbles, crosswords, and general anagrams — each tuned to that game's actual rules.
What's here
All of it is free, requires no account, and runs instantly in your browser:
How the dictionary works
Our word lists are built from public-domain sources — the ENABLE word list for general English words, and standard Scrabble tournament word lists (SOWPODS/TWL) to check which words are legal in Scrabble specifically. That's why a word can appear in our anagram results but be flagged as not valid for Scrabble play, or vice versa — the games use different dictionaries.
A note on affiliation
ScrabbleWise is an independent project and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hasbro, Mattel, Zynga, The New York Times, or any other game publisher. Game names are used only to describe which games our tools are compatible with. See our Terms of Service for details.
